Dr Sabri as CEO of the Electronic Money Association, runs the trade body representing electronic money issuers (prepaid payments) and payment service providers in Europe. These include new payment service providers such as PayPal and Google Payments as well as established card schemes such as AMEX, MasterCard and Visa, and bill payment providers such as PayPoint. Dr Sabri is also Director of Flawless Money Ltd, a specialist consultancy focusing on payments and e-money. It has represented e-money issuers in their application for authorisation in the EU, in passporting into other EU countries and assisted issuers in developing internal systems and controls including anti-money laundering. Previously Dr Sabri acted as European counsel for beenz.com, and regulatory manager at Mondex International. He attended Sheffield University, Imperial College for Science and Technology and Birbeck College, University of London. He qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
