On 5th April the ADCB announced it had joined hands with UTI India’s first new generation private sector bank to bring Non-Resident Indians a comprehensive solution to cater to their India and UAE needs. Mr Mukhopadhyay played a key role in setting it up. As he said at the launch, ‘this aims to offer the entire suite of India centric products viz NR accounts, India home loans, right here in the UAE. The most unique feature of this tie up would be the instant online remittance to UTI bank accounts in India from ADCB which in short means more value, more convenience and peace of mind.” Mr Mukhopadhyay was previously with Citigroup as Vice President from 1998 to 2005. He was educated at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
