Mr Haghighat is presently Regional Head of Direct Banking, HSBC Middle East. In his current role he manages the on-going development and delivery of a full range of e-business and second generation internet banking services. He led the development and launch of HSBC’s eSaver account, a ground breaking on line savings proposition in the Middle East.Prior to this position he was Head of Distribution and Sales, UAE and Deputy Regional Head of Personal Financial Services for HSBC Middle East. From 1991 to 2001 he held two Chief positions at Mashreqbank psc. From 1989 to 1991 he was Vice President and Manager of Benton International Inc, a leading management consulting organisation based in California. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of California.
