Aletha Ling
Fundamo, Head of Business Development and Executive Director

Aletha is a veteran of the computer industry. After heading up IBM South Africa’s Software Business she left in 1993 to start the very successful technology company Software Futures, growing it to a 600 person software and services business which she subsequently sold to the JSE listed company, Computer Configurations Holdings (CCH), she stayed on as a board director and was appointed as CEO of CCH a year later. She was the 1999 S.A. Computer Society IT Personality of the year and has served as non-executive on a number of boards including that of a financial services company. She has served as futurist and CEO of Futureworld and continues as an associate of that organization and member of the World Futures Society.

Aletha took a sabbatical during 2004, sailing her yacht from Cape Town to the Caribbean.

She joined Fundamo during early 2006 with a mandate to drive the company’s global expansion program.
