Gavin Watson's practice has an international scope and includes advising on cross-border commercial transactions and the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects around the world, with a particular focus on oil and gas, and downstream industries including refineries, petrochemicals and derivative projects.

He has represented a wide range of clients including governments, owners, developers,investors, financiers and export credit agencies on transactions and projects in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

The author of several articles in trade and legal publications, Mr. Watson has given speeches about numerous liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure issues, such as the challenges and opportunities presented by LNG import terminals and the anatomy of the LNG supply chain.

Mr. Watson is listed in Euromoney's "2007 Guide to the World's Leading Energy and Resource Lawyers" and the Chambers Global 2008 Guide as a leading lawyer for corporate/commercial work in the UAE.
